Raje Technology Group Notice of Data Event
Raje Technology Group and its subsidiaries are providing notice of an incident that may affect some information of certain current and former employees, and their dependents. We take this incident very seriously and the security of information in our care is among its highest priorities. Raje Technology Group is providing details about the incident, our response, and resources available to individuals to help protect their information from possible misuse, should they feel it is appropriate to do so.
What Happened? Around December 12, 2024, Raje Technology Group detected irregular activity within its network. Raje Technology Group took steps to secure the environment and launched an investigation to determine the nature and scope of the activity. The investigation determined that between December 5, 2024, and December 12, 2024, an unauthorized actor gained access to certain computer systems and accessed or acquired files stored on those systems. Raje Technology Group then began the extensive process of reviewing relevant files and learned they included information related to current and former employees, and their dependents. Although Raje Technology Group has no evidence of any identity theft or fraud occurring in connection with this incident, out of an abundance of caution, it is notifying those whose information was potentially accessed or acquired.
What Information Was Involved? While the information impacted varies by individual, the types of information that could have been impacted includes: Social Security number, driver’s license or state identification number, financial account information, payment card information, medical information, and health insurance information. At this time, there is no evidence of any identity theft or fraud occurring as the result of this incident.
What We Are Doing. Raje Technology Group treats its responsibility to safeguard information as an utmost priority, and we follow strict security measures to protect information in our care. As part of our ongoing commitment to information security, we are currently reviewing our policies and procedures, as well as assessing new cybersecurity tools, to prevent similar incidents going forward. We reported the incident to law enforcement and are cooperating with their investigation. We are also notifying relevant regulatory authorities, as required.
As an added precaution, Raje Technology Group is providing notice and complimentary access to credit monitoring and identity theft protection services to individuals whose information was affected in this incident. What You Can Do. Raje Technology Group encourages impacted individuals to remain vigilant against incidents of identity theft and fraud by reviewing account statements and monitoring their credit reports for suspicious activity and to detect errors. Raje Technology Group is providing impacted individuals with contact information for the three major credit reporting agencies, as well as providing advice on how to obtain free credit reports and how to place fraud alerts and security freezes on their credit files.
